My new business Fringe Street Designs not only offers woven wall hangings but now it also offers these Kits so you can now make your very own wall hangings! The looms and kits are both made in Nova Scotia, Canada, and ship across the country.
If you have been looking for a creative outlet, this is for you! It will give you an opportunity to give yourself some “me-time,” a way to relax, and in my opinion, a different form of meditation.
What’s Included
The kits come with everything you see here: a custom-designed, Canadian made loom, weaving comb, dowel, needle, 6 or 7 bundles of yarn, and cotton yarn for the warp. We offer different colour palettes, and are even open to designing a custom colour if you are looking for something specific. Check out my Etsy Shop to see what I currently have in stock.
Online Weaving Course
Don’t know where to start? Don’t worry, Fringe Street Designs has you covered with our Introduction to Weaving online course – perfect for beginners. There are 10 lessons included and are broken down into bite-sized pieces to help you create your woven wall hanging step by step. You can complete the course in one sitting or space it out, and you will have the ability to refer back to lessons when needed. The best part – it still leaves some room for your own creativity to design a unique wall hanging.
